G2 SOFTWARE SYSTEMS AND OTHERS TO SERVICE U.S. SPAWAR SYSTEMS CENTER PACIFIC RADAR AND GUI SOFTWARE
SAN DIEGO -- The U.S. Navy has awarded G2 Software Systems of San Diego, Calif., a $33.6-million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee, multiple-award contract (N66001-18-D-0318) for engineering services to provide Network Management Reference Implementation Laboratory software research and development, systems engineering, logistics, and test support. Support includes integrated logistics, radar signal processing, radio frequency data acquisition, graphical user interface design, and onsite technical assistance and security.
This contract was competitively procured via request for proposal N66001-17-R-0154 which was published on the U.S. Federal Business Opportunities website and the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command e-Commerce Central website. This is one of five multiple award contracts, and will support the U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center Pacific. Five offers were received and five were selected for award. The other awardees are Northrop Grumman of San Diego, Calif. who received a contract for $30.3 million, Booz Allen Hamilton of McLean, Va. for $29.5 million, Integration Innovation of Huntsville, Ala. for $27.4 million, and Scientific Research Corporation of Atlanta, Ga. for $25.8 million
All awardees will have the opportunity to compete for task orders during the ordering period. The two-year contract includes two, two-year option periods which, if exercised, would bring the potential value of this contract to an estimated $105.5 million.
The contracted work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed September 18, 2020. If the two option periods are exercised, the period of performance will extend through September 18, 2024.
At the time of the award, the Navy has obligated no funding, but funds will be obligated as task orders are issued using Navy Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation; Operations and Maintenance; and Other Procurement funding elements.
