TELEDYNE WIRELESS TO REPAIR U.S. NAVY'S EA-6BS' ALQ-99S UNDER $7.5M CONTRACT
PHILADELPHIA -- The U.S. Navy has awarded Teledyne Wireless of Rancho Cordova, Calif., a $7.5-million firm-fixed-price contract (N00383-19-C-D002) for the repair of the ALQ-99 system in support of EA-6B Prowler aircraft. The contract does not contain a provision for an option quantity and only one source was solicited for this non-competitive requirement pursuant to the authority set forth in 10 U.S. Code 2304 (c)(1), with one offer received.
The contracted work will be performed in Rancho Cordova, Calif., and is expected to be completed by November 2021.
The Navy has obligated the full $7.5 million in Working Capital funds at the time of the award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The U.S. Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.
