Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC)

COMAC was created to be the focus of China's commercial aviation ambitions. It works closely with the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), from which it derived most of its operations. These firms are part of China's overall effort to develop its aviation sector and reduce its dependence on Airbus and Boeing, and eventually compete against them.
