ROLLS-ROYCE CORP. AWARDED T56 ENGINE CONTRACT MODIFICATION

PATUXENT RIVER, Md. -- Rolls-Royce Corp., Indianapolis, Indiana, is awarded a not-to-exceed $17.6 million for a modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. This modification exercises an option to procure T56-A-427A engines, power section modules and reduction gearbox modules for the E-2D aircraft.

Work will be performed in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is expected to be completed in September 2019.

No funds will be obligated at time of award. Funds will be obligated on individual delivery orders as they are issued.

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
