The military rotorcraft sector will undergo considerable change over the next 10 years, culminating in the introduction of a new generation of military rotorcraft in the early 2030s. In the meantime, production levels in the military segment will be buoyed for much of the 2020’s by increased global demand caused by geopolitical factors such as the Russian invasion of Ukraine and rising tensions in the Asia/Pacific region. Eventually, though, market fundamentals will take over as production of legacy helicopters begins to decline by the late 2020s as customers await the next-generation models. |
